As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation develops and changes over time, we would like to reach out to you with our response. Montgomery County has announced that Phase 2 of reopening will begin on Friday, June 19th. Amber Door Day Spa will be re-open for business with compliance to all CDC standards and guidelines for maintaining a safe environment.

Booking Policies
- Appointments will be taken by phone ONLY – walk-ins will not be accepted. Appointments made through any third-party applications (Facebook, Yelp, Vagaro, etc.) or software will not be accepted.
- Only 6 clients will be allowed in the spa at any given time to reduce the amount of contact our employees and other clients are exposed to. We ask that you kindly refrain from bringing anyone who is not also booked for a service.
- Our new hours will be from 11:00AM-7:00PM every day of the week. However, we can accommodate a special time outside of our regular hours upon request for HEALTH REASONS ONLY. If you are elderly or have any health conditions that would make you more susceptible to the virus (ex. Diabetes, cardiovascular or respiratory conditions unrelated to COVID-19, etc.).
- Please do not book with us if you are sick or have possibly been exposed to COVID-19. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that we feel unsafe to serve.
Our Procedures
- We will be taking the temperature of all clients who enter the spa with a contactless thermometer. If we feel that it is unsafe to serve you at that time, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment or reschedule for a different time.
- Masks will be required for all clients who are entering the spa – please keep them on at all times. We will not be able to provide them as they are a limited and necessary resource for our staff.
- All high contact surfaces, tools, and mani/pedi stations will be disinfected before and after each service is complete. All disposable tools will be discarded after each service.
- Our manicure stations will have a physical barrier preventing direct face-to-face contact with your nail technician.
- Only nail, waxing, and eyelash extension services will be provided. Massage and facial services will not be available to book as of this moment.
